Thankful
We just completed a wonderful Thanksgiving at our house again. I don't know where to begin listing the things I a thankful to God for blessing me with. First and foremost, for my salvation, for my wonderful family. I thank God for how that family is growing with new grandchildren and new in-laws for my children and us. Debbie is about to begin a new career and that is wonderful. Thank you God for all of it.

It's been a while. Debbie and I are really working out now and trying to eat in a more healthy way. She has lost 20 lbs. and I have lost 10. My blood glucose level has dropped to normal levels from extreme highs. God has truly blessed us. I am trying to get things ready for Oct 19th, when we have David Greene and David Pollack scheduled to speak at FBCPS and have a steak dinner. I will be cooking 500 steaks that day. I pray that God will bless our efforts and that it all honors and glorifies Him. I pray that I will remove the limits I have placed on God in my life and I will allow Him to take me to a higher level of His love and spirituality.

Whew!!!!!!
I am recovering from thet Wild Game Banquet at FBCPS last night. We had about 650 men, boys and women who came to partake of my and Michael's cooking. As usual we prayed the "fishes and the loaves" and God provided. The speaker, Tommy Bowden, was great. But the most important fact is that there were 33 salvations and 49 recommittments to Christ. That is abo 15% of the the attendees. That is amazing. What an event. We work up to the day of the event and then go like we're in 10th gear on the day of the event. It is good but hard to coordinate men to cook, men to greet, men to serve, men to clean, and what ever else is needed, but what a feeling when you hear how many men gave their lives to Christ. It makes all the pains and aches simply disappear. Praise God!

What A Weekend
Man this one started out with a bang. We completed the order for the WIld Game Banquet at FBCPS and it was double the budget from years past because the rices had increased so much. So yesterday, Saturday, Debbie and I spent between 3 and 4 hours reworking the order and comparing prices from Sam's and Sysco and other places. Well we were pretty successful in reducing and and I believe everything will work out. I believe that is God's will. However in the middle of all this working Jason received a letter in the mail telling him that either someone stole his identity or someone entered his license number when they should have entered someon else's. His license was suspended for a charge that he never got. Now we have to work all this out and get it all straightened out for him. Right now he has a suspended license and it wasn't him. See you at Fulton State Courthouse tomorrow.

What I Believe
As a child of the King, I am so humbled by the experience of His grace and feel so unworthy of it. I pray that I am always in God's will and that whatever I do is for His kingdom. I try so hard to not hold on to the things and the troubles of this world because I know and have seen time after time that God can and will provide if we will just let Him. I pray that I am always seen first as a Christian because it may be the only Christian that someone may see. God has blessed so much. I had parents that were amazing. They taught me who God was and they are the ones that lead me to salvation. I remember the night like yesterday. My parents were so godly and I miss them so much. I believe that there is only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ. The world today is filled with so many false prophets. They are everywhere you turn, but there is still only one way.
